Here at TStat we are extremely excited about the possibility of sharing Stata features quickly and regularly with our annual licence holders via StataNowTM.

WHAT IS StataNowTM?

StataNowTM is an additional benefit automatically included with all annual, biannual and triennial Stata licenses. As StataCorp moves to a continuous release cycle for its annual licence holders, StataNowTM users will no longer have to wait for StataCorp’s major software releases, but instead be able to access all of Stata’s new statistical features, reporting and interface enhancements as soon as they are released by StataCorp. 

New developments released via StataNowTM will be made available to users directly through the software itself, simply by typing update all in the command line. StataNowTM users will be notified directly by the software, when new features become available. Users will then be given the option to download and install the specific update in the same way as they have been able to download standard Stata updates to date.

WHO CAN ACCESS StataNowTM?

  • All annual, biannual and triennial licences will now be classified as StataNowTM
  • Perpetual licence holders, currently subscribing to StataCorp’s maintenance program will NOT automatically receive StataNowTM. They can however, request access to StataNowTM by filling in our online StataNowTM request form.
